Flow Control

  • AVFM 6.1

    AVFM 6.1

The Area Velocity Flow Measurement method is the most common method of all flow measurements. The AVFM 6.1 Area Velocity Flow Meter uses a submersible ultrasonic sensor to calculate flow measurement in an open channel or pipe. The sensors are mounted either inside a pipe or at the bottom of a channel, and the sensor is built to resist fouling, corrosion, and abrasion. The AVFM 6.1 Area Velocity Flow Meter can be configured with the standard submerged velocity-level sensor or with submerged velocity in combination with a separate non-contacting ultrasonic level sensor, which is suitable for highly aerated fluids or those with a high concentration of suspended solid

  • DFM 6.1

    DFM 6.1

Gaining flow measurement inside a pipe can sometimes be tricky. The DFM 6.1 Doppler Flow Meter works as a non-contacting, clamp-on flow meter to offer effective clamp-on pipe flow measurement from outside the pipe. Its Doppler technology makes it perfect for use as a water flow meter, specifically for difficult liquids, or liquids with suspended solids. The non-invasive Doppler ultrasonic flow meter fits a pipe 12.5 mm (0.5 in) inside diameter or larger, and clamps to the outside of the pipe, gaining flow measurement readings without interrupting the process...

  • DFS 5.1

    DFS 5.1

Flow switches are particularly useful for pump protection or to activate flow or no-flow alarms. The DFS 5.1 Doppler Flow Switch is designed to give basic process control for pipe flow measurement, recommended for difficult liquids. The non-contacting ultrasonic sensor mounts to the outside of metal or plastic pipes, without the need to cut the pipe or shut down the flow of your process, increasing your efficiency and ultimate profitability. With no maintenance required for the Doppler flow switch, it works on any pipe diameter 12.5 mm (0.5 in) or larger and installs in just minutes.

  • Flowpulse Sensor

    Flowpulse Sensor

The Pulsar FlowPulse is a non-invasive clamp-on flow sensor for pipe flow monitoring. It simply clamps to the outside of the pipe and is secured with a screwdriver. Using Doppler technology, the sensor is suitable for applications requiring flow measurement on dirty or difficult liquids. The FlowPulse clamp-on flow sensor fires ultrasound through a variety of pipe wall materials, is refracted at angles across the axis of the flow, and is reflected back from bubbles, particles, and vortices in all directions - the change in frequency is then displayed as flow measurement.

  • Microflow

    Microflow

MicroFlow provides a non-contacting, velocity measurement solution for open channels. Use MicroFlow as a stand-alone device for simple velocity measurement or pair it with a dB Ultrasonic Transducer for a complete area-velocity system. Area-velocity calculations using MicroFlow provide a cost-effective flow measurement solution compared to the installation of a Primary Measuring Device (PMD).

  • Microflow-i

    Microflow-i

The MicroFlow-i is a non-contacting velocity measurement solution. Its extremely low power makes it an ideal velocity measurement solution for remote sewer network access points that are difficult to reach and often have no main power supply. Its lightweight, compact design makes installation simple, especially within confined spaces, and requires no interruption to normal operational flow.

  • PDFM 5.1

    PDFM 5.1

The PDFM 5.1 Portable Doppler Flow Meter is a portable flow meter that clamps to the outside of a pipe to gain pipe flow measurement. The ultrasonic Doppler technology used by the PDFM 5.1 makes it perfect for use as a water flow meter, specifically for dirty or difficult liquids that contain bubbles or solids, like wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids, and abrasives.

  • PTFM 6.1

    PTFM 6.1

Whether you need flow measurement when you didn’t have it before, or you need to prove that your existing system is performing properly, the PTFM 6.1 Portable Transit Time Flow Meter is here to help by providing accurate, non-invasive flow measurement in the most challenging industrial environments and applications, with minimal installation complexity and cost.

  • SFM 6.1

    SFM 6.1

The SFM 6.1 is a specially designed Slurry Flow Meter designed for industrial and dredging flow applications. This non-contacting ultrasonic doppler flow meter is specifically designed for limestone slurry, fly ash slurry, gypsum slurry, and many others! The non-contacting ultrasonic sensor simply clamps to the outside of a wide variety of pipe materials and sends an ultrasonic signal into the pipe, measuring acoustic reflections off solids and gas bubbles that are suspended in the slurry.

  • Stingray 2.0

    Stingray 2.0

The Stingray 2.0 is a portable level-velocity logger, with free Greyline Logger Software for the calculation of flow as an open channel meter. The design is compact, portable, and battery-powered which makes it a fantastic instrument for open channel flow measurement. Using four standard Alkaline D-cell batteries to operate as a battery-powered data logger, the unit is a complete area velocity logger with an ultrasonic sensor that data logs level, velocity, and water temperature for flow monitoring through open channels, partially full sewer pipes and surcharged pipes.

  • TTFM 6.1

    TTFM 6.1

The TTFM 6.1 Transit-Time Flow Meter is ideal for treated clean water, raw water, cooling water, chemicals, hydraulic oil, low-conductivity water, water/glycol solutions, and diesel and fuel oils. The unit works by measuring the time-of-flight difference for ultrasonic sound pulses transmitted from one transducer to another. The time between transmitted and received signals is measured by the flow meter. Mount the TTFM 6.1 Transit-Time Flow Meter ultrasonic transducers on the outside of a pipe and use the built-in 5-button keypad to enter the pipe material, outer diameter, wall thickness, and fluid type. The TTFM 6.1 will display the correct transducer separation distance and mounting method.
